I was traveling with a young man I disciple. As we discussed what it means to be Christlike, we saw a driver accidentally drive his car into an open manhole. I immediately stopped the car and asked the young man to help me. With help from others nearby, we safely pulled the driver’s car out. It was a great opportunity for him to experience being Christlike. He realized that I was teaching him to be like Christ by showing him through my actions. I believe this experience made a lasting impact on his life.
Over the past three months, I have seen two of the young men I disciple stop vaping and become sober. It has been a joy to see the positive changes God is making in their lives.
I am thankful that our country leader brings us together each week for prayer and fellowship. During these meetings, we share how the Lord is working in our lives and ministries, discuss the challenges we face, and learn from one another. The movement has been a great source of encouragement and spiritual growth for me. It has helped me become more consistent, intentional, and effective in making disciples. It has strengthened my commitment to investing in young men and encouraged me to disciple them with greater purpose and faithfulness.
