Recently, I met Wisdom, a 28-year-old young man struggling with alcohol and smoking addiction. His journey began in 6th grade, when his own father—his role model—introduced him to these habits. Now, Wisdom longs for change. I shared the gospel with him and I continue to pray for his transformation, believing that God’s Word will renew his heart.
This encounter reminded me that many young men are influenced by negative role models like Wisdom’s father. We as disciples of Jesus need to rise up and share the love of Christ with these young men.
I’m grateful to be part of a movement discipling young men through Network 20 International. It has opened my eyes to the critical needs young men face.
