This week the US experienced a history-changing event. One of the boldest disciples of Jesus in the US—Charlie Kirk—was murdered.
I greatly admired Charlie’s passion for discipling young people and especially his passion in expressing his faith. He boldly claimed Jesus as Lord and Savior and boldly spoke the truth. Clearly Jesus was his LORD. Everyone knows it. The world knows it.
Charlie was loved and respected by both “Christian” and “non-Christian” people. One of his best friends was the President of the United States.
Also, Charlie was hated by many. It is the hate that led to his assassination.
Worldwide people are murdered because they proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior. Typically, that does not happen in the US.
God will use this horrific tragedy to get more of His disciples moving in the right direction, which is fully submitted to God’s plan for their lives. I believe Charlie was as fully submitted as is humanly possible.
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. (Acts 4:29 NIV)
Let’s boldly proclaim Jesus and disciple young men to boldly proclaim Jesus!
