In my tough time from stress and many worries, God gave me peace and strengthened me.
I was chatting with someone who wanted to commit suicide. I told that person how much God loves us and how important everyone’s life is. That person decided to live and is now part of a group where they enjoy studying God’s word and sharing God’s stories.
I pray and ask for help from the Holy Spirit to teach me how to engage more in meaningful conversations as I continue to guide young men in their spiritual journeys. May God continue to strengthen me as I deal challenging and conflicting schedules that make it difficult to spend time together.
Becoming an official youth leader in our church has provided access to great tools and enriching lessons meant to help new disciple-makers nurture their followers. These great materials coming from Network 20 not only strengthen us as leaders but also allow us to grow personally and spiritually through the act of discipleship.
