Testimony from Bhutan

“As a disciple of Jesus living in Bhutan, I also face challenges. Buddhism is the only religion allowed to be practiced in our country. We are subject to persecution, such as not being able to meet for Christian fellowship.

Whenever I don’t work, we make sure that we gather and have fellowship. I also encourage them to spend time in prayer, Bible reading, quiet time, and worship. As young men, they tend to let their hearts stray towards worldly desires and distractions. My primary goal is to guide them back towards the path of Christ’s teachings and values, helping them stay grounded in faith and lead fulfilling, purposeful lives. Our body is the temple of God, so as mentioned in the Bible, our body should be sacrificed to God, not to the world, so that we can be stronger in faith to serve God, not the world.

It is my desire for them to grow and know more about God’s kingdom. Network 20 is a resource to help young men in our country through inspiring, equipping, connecting, and helping, and we hope for more to come.”
