August 27–31 will be a significant and exciting time for Network 20! Our five Africa Region Leaders, Network 20’s Executive Director, and a videographer will gather for a retreat at an undisclosed location in Africa. We would appreciate your prayers for a Spirit-filled and productive time together.
In 2025, all of our region leaders came together for a retreat in The Philippines. That time of fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and strategic planning made a tremendous impact. We believe it played an important role in helping fuel the exponential growth we are experiencing throughout the movement today.
This year, we are intentionally focusing on Africa.
Our five regional leaders represent Southern, West, East, Central, and North Africa. Two of these leaders are new since the 2025 retreat, making this gathering an especially important opportunity to strengthen relationships, build unity, and move forward together with a shared vision.
Today, Network 20 is a growing global movement of more than 3,500 men discipling over 15,000 young men across 10 regions and 71 countries. In Africa alone, we are now active in 46 of the continent’s 54 countries. That means there are only eight countries left. And our dedicated Africa Region Leaders—Peter, Patrick, Yepabo, Narlais, and Sherin—are committed to reaching all 54 African countries by the end of 2026!
During this retreat, we will invest deeply in building stronger bonds among these five leaders and myself. We will pray together, encourage one another, share victories and challenges, and engage in strategic planning as we press toward the goal of seeing disciple-makers in every country across Africa.
We are also excited that a videographer will be joining us to capture powerful testimonies and stories from the work taking place across the continent. These videos will help tell the story of Network 20 and shine a light on the life-changing work God is doing through men who have answered the call to disciple young men to grow in their faith.
The potential impact of these few days together is enormous. Thousands of disciple-makers, the young men they disciple, their churches, their families, and their communities could ultimately be touched and transformed through what God does during this retreat.
Again, please pray with us. Pray for unity. Pray for wisdom. Pray for vision. Pray for safety and protection. And pray that this retreat will ignite an even greater passion and momentum to see young men discipled throughout every corner of Africa.
