Earlier this month, two Network 20 team members from Kyrgyzstan traveled to the Caucasus region countries of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia. The objective of the mission was to identify, analyze, and engage key Christian leaders for developing the movement with local men. In addition, the guys were seeking individuals who may lead Network 20 in their countries. They met with leaders of local churches and primary Christian organizations.
In reporting on the mission results, the team wrote, “Meeting with leaders was essential as the successful development of the disciple-making movement is impossible without leadership support. During these meetings, a solid foundation of trust was established, the value of the movement was communicated, and conceptual agreement was obtained from pastors to allow their leaders to coordinate this disciple-making work in the future.”
The Lord blessed the team with great success in connecting with potential leaders. Now that guys have returned to their home country where they will continue to follow-up.
Please pray that the team secures country leaders for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia. May God have his way!
