Often young men in Uganda lack access to education due to poverty. Peer pressure and substance abuse impact most, which is part of the reason why discipling young men is so important. Disciple-making provides them with positive role models who can guide them—shape their character, values, and behavior and inspire them to become responsible and productive members and leaders of society.
The work of disciple-makers in Uganda is ultimately dependent on the empowering and guiding work of the Holy Spirit. God’s transformative work through disciple-makers is a testimony to His grace, power, and desire to reconcile humanity to Himself. Network 20 International provides biblical teachings and guidance to young men, equipping them to become disciple-makers themselves as they grow in their faith and knowledge of God.
Pray for the spiritual growth and maturity of the young men in Uganda. Please ask the Lord to give them a deep hunger for His Word and a desire to follow Christ wholeheartedly.
