The November 2026 Network 20 equipping series of four lessons was written by Aitbek Samatov. In the first lesson titled “Love within God,” Aitbek writes,

Before there was a world, there was God. Before there was humanity, sin, or the cross, God already was love.

Scripture teaches that the Father loves the Son, the Son loves the Father, and the Holy Spirit shares fully in the life of the one true God. God did not create humanity because He was missing something or because He needed someone to love. God was already perfect and complete.

Jesus said, “I love the Father,” and showed that love through perfect obedience. The Father also loved the Son and held nothing back from Him. He gave the Son authority, judgment, honor, and life.

This helps us understand something important about salvation. God’s love for humanity is not the starting point of the story. The eternal love of the Father for the Son is at the center.

The Father gives a redeemed people to the Son, and the Son willingly gives Himself for them.

Our salvation, therefore, is not simply a story about how much God loves us. It is part of a much greater story: the eternal purpose of God, centered on the glory of the Son.

When we begin to understand this, we stop making ourselves the center of God’s love and begin to see God Himself as the center.
