This month’s Network 20 equipping materials were written by Southeast Asia Region Leader, Carlos Holguin. They are titled, “ Be Courageous.” In the first of four lessons, Carlos writes the following:
“God calls His people to stand firmly for His truth, even when the world chooses to compromise. Throughout Scripture, God honors those who remain faithful, obey His Word, trust Him in difficult times, and refuse to follow the crowd. Standing for Christ may bring opposition, rejection, or challenges, but our faithfulness reveals God’s power, strengthens our witness, and brings Him glory.”
“We are called to stand courageously by choosing God’s ways over the values of the world and trusting Him no matter the cost. Our faithfulness should not depend on who is watching. God sees every decision we make, including the small choices made in private.”
“Being faithful in little things prepares us for greater responsibilities. Every choice is an opportunity to honor Christ and reflect His character. Standing firm begins with small decisions because those decisions shape our habits, strengthen our faith, and form the kind of disciples we become.”
