One experience I saw this month involves a young man I had been trying to reach for three years without success. Recently, he called me after being beaten during a robbery. He told me that I had tried to help him before, but he rejected my advice. Now, however, he says he is ready to listen and wants guidance for his life.
Another encouraging experience is seeing the growth of the young men we are discipling. Many of them are now helping in their churches as ushers, while others are leading small groups of new believers and discipling them. It is exciting to see how they are taking responsibility and serving others with a willing heart.
These moments remind me that God is always at work, even when we do not see immediate results. Patience and consistency in reaching out can lead to real change. Lives are being transformed, and young men are growing in faith and becoming disciples of Jesus in their communities.
