The Africa Mission 2025 continues. Last week I was in the Ethiopia. Now I am in Zimbabwe. Tomorrow, I head to Nigeria.
God greatly blessed the time in Ethiopia. We met with many influencers over meals. Mostly these were pastors who had responsibilities for multiple congregations. I was very impressed with the leadership of our Ethiopian country leader, Pastor Wonde, and his ability to get men to come to a Network 20 meeting. And, praise God, most of the men registered, or will register, to join the movement.
The time here is Zimbabwe is going well. Patrick Milazi (Southern Africa Region Leader), Pastor Lloyd Jarrison (Zimbabwe Country Leader), and I are meeting with local pastors, influencers, and potential disciple-makers. (See photo.) May there be much fruit. Glory to God!
Both in Ethiopia and here in Zimbabwe I hear that young men are NOT DOING WELL. The majority are unemployed and living very hopeless, unfulfilled lives. I hear that no one is tending to these guys. One pastor went so far as to say that when seeing a group of 10 young men probably 10 out of 10 are on their way to hell. This should not be! The church must rise up and disciple these guys! ALL YOUNG MEN NEED TO THRIVE IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS!
Please continue to pray for this mission. Tomorrow, I head to Nigeria, which is the last stop on this missionary journey. Pastor Wilfrid Yepabo Nouemou (West Africa Region Leader) will join me on the Nigeria mission. We will be hosted by Pastor Andrew Yusuf Amankye (Nigeria Country Leader).
May God continue to provide much fruit! Jesus wants young men to thrive!
