As I look back on the journey of Network 20 in my country, Zambia, since 2021 and across Africa, I feel very thankful for what God is doing on this continent. Young men are growing in their relationships with God. Christopher is one of the young men who has been discipled by Network 20 since the movement began in Zambia. Now, he is helping disciple other young men in his village, and his friends are also growing spiritually.
This week, when I spoke with Christopher, he said, “What encourages me is that my friends are more engaged in studying God’s Word, and they really want to grow.” Christopher is hopeful that more young men in his village will become committed followers of Jesus and grow in areas like integrity, even in a world that often values pleasure and shortcuts to success.
