Support our Uganda Mission 2024

Will you send us to Uganda?

Lord willing, Pastor Peter Kitangwa of Tanzania—the regional leader of East Africa—and Gary Wybenga—Executive Director—are going on a missionary journey to Uganda to be with Network 20 Country Leader—Pastor Stephen Ozelle—and his disciple-making team. The dates of the mission are August 13 to 20. We will conduct trainings to grow men in their relationship with Jesus and their role as disciple-makers.

Uganda’s young men face major life challenges. The unemployment rate is over 60% for youth. Youth suffer from lack of access to education and extreme poverty. Also, they experience great life burdens caused by drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and high-risk sexual behaviors.

Pastor Stephen writes, “The mission to Uganda aims to grow the Network 20 movement in Uganda. To have experienced disciple-makers like Gary and Peter encourage and equip local Ugandan pastors, will result in catalyzing the movement of men discipling other men in my country. This grassroots, local approach is crucial for long-term sustainability and growth of disciple-making in Uganda.”

Young men in Africa are being discipled by men who know them best and care for them best. We desire the movement to grow so the important work of discipling young men advances.
