Every month Network 20 distributes a new series of four equipping lessons. This month, July 2025, the series is titled “Spiritual Disciplines.” It was written by our Southwest Asia Region Leader, Adnan Daniel. The titles of the lessons written by Adnan are “Simplicity,” “Prayer,” “Fasting,” and “Solitude.”
In the first lesson, Adnan writes:
“Jesus lived a simple life—not in comfort or ease, but in clarity of purpose. He didn’t chase wealth, status, possessions or distraction. His life was centered on obedience to the Father, service to others, and trust in God’s provision. As His disciples, we are called to follow His example—not by adding more to our lives, but by removing what is unnecessary, unhelpful, or unholy.”
“Simplicity is not about having less just for the sake of having less. It is about embracing humility. When we live simply, we are more available to hear God’s voice, serve others, live generously, and possibly worry less.”
Men who are registered with Network 20 receive the lessons in English and their local language. They are free to use the materials in whatever way they desire. We trust that they use these valuable resources to disciple young men who may then thrive in their relationship with Jesus.
